# Terms of Use

By downloading or using Moments Widget ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you disagree, please do not use the App.

### 1. The Service

Moments Widget is an iOS app that lets you create countdowns and widgets for important events. Features include:

* Event creation and time tracking
* Home Screen widgets
* iCloud sync via Apple CloudKit
* Optional premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions

### 2. Data & Privacy

**No Account Required:** The App doesn't require account registration.

**Local Storage:** Your data is stored locally on your device by default.

**iCloud Sync:** If enabled, data syncs across your devices using Apple CloudKit. All sync is handled by Apple's infrastructure. We cannot access your iCloud data. Apple's Terms and Privacy Policy apply.

**Data Security:** We cannot guarantee against data loss from device issues, connectivity problems, or iCloud service interruptions. Please back up your device regularly.

### 3. Purchases & Subscriptions

**Payment:** All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID.

**Subscriptions:** Auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage subscriptions in App Store settings.

**Refunds:** Contact Apple Support for refund requests.

### 4. Acceptable Use

You may not:

* Use the App for unlawful purposes
* Reverse engineer or modify the App
* Disrupt the App's operation

Violations may result in access termination.

### 5. Intellectual Property

We own all rights to the App's design, code, and content. Your event data remains yours—we only process it locally or in your personal iCloud storage.

### 6. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service or data accuracy. We're not liable for any damages from your use of the App.

### 7. Changes & Termination

We may modify or discontinue the App at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

### 8. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling (incorporated by reference).

### 9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction. Disputes should be resolved through negotiation first, then through appropriate legal channels if needed.
